Modern Slavery Statement

Check out our statement

Introduction

We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking. We continue to work with our suppliers to reflect our zero-tolerance stance to use of modern slaves and human trafficking through our supply chain. As Schematiq has a turnover of less than £36million, we are not required to publish an annual modern slavery statement, so this statement will not be refreshed annually.

Our Modern Slavery Policy

We are committed to ensuring that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. Our Modern Slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.

Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking Supplier adherence to our values

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, we will request that all suppliers provide confirmation that they are not involved in modern slavery or human trafficking.

We will seek to obtain a statement from suppliers that confirms that they do not participate in slavery and human trafficking and include a compliance clause in our service agreements. Our Executive Assistant to the Board are involved in ensuring compliance.

Use of your personal information

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we will provide training to our staff where appropriate.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement hereafter. This statement has been approved by Schematiq’s Board of Directors on 27 April 2022.
